i believe that people who hold 5 or more race time records should get a special overhead title and chat color
it would be called record legend and would be a yellowish gray color

I’ve got a better idea
A race record leaderboard, same as derby wins except it counts how many race records you currently have and there’s a top 10 that get a unique primary title
The actual skill demanding part of the game is overshadowed by just “who has the most free time to waste on grinding parts and wins”

Neither is it a demo derby game yet there are as much derby tasks/missions as destruction and driving combined if not more
And there’s a whole leaderboard, lobby and events based in derby, not just derby but also freeroam missions like speedzones and speedtraps that aren’t at all related to crushing yet they get a lot of attention and updates.
Sure it’s not a racing game but racing is not a negligible aspect of it, some people only play it for the driving and racing part because the feel and handling of the vehicles is better than other roblox car games.
So why should the actually skilled players be thrown aside in favor of playtime projecting stats? Not a single reason to not want a small improvement in one of the games’ corners.

Car crushers has had derby way longer than races, and yes people like driving around but that is partially the point of the game. You grind for cars, get good ones then have fun driving them

half of the cars suffer from understeer, wheels are constantly jumping from buggy physics and your steering wheel sometimes doesn’t auto-correct itself
maybe cc2 ain’t that good as a racing sim

Don’t yall think we’ve veered away from the original point? We were talking about rewarding players for racing not making cc2 a racing simulator 
Why are yall so against giving players titles for getting world records? Like what does that diminish from your life? It’s just a small suggestion, to reward players for a specific achievement.. wtf does that have to do with how realistic the handling is?

It’s a nice reward but might be too challenging: adding it would make more people demand to make it easier
Imo record holder is good as is, no need for an extra challenge, especially when record holder is challenging enough for avg player already

special.
A new title with similar difficulty to say.. annihilator would definitely have it’s place, just anything that sparks competition in the race leaderboards is always fun, those that would complain about difficulty don’t deserve it to begin with, plus a title has to reflect what the person achieved unlike titles such as derby legend which sounds cool but is way too easy to get.
