i know, i just woke up at 5 am, but the amount of low quality bug reports ive seen lately is just insane. like i don’t even know if they get some thought put into them anymore. either they are desperate as hell for pro crusher or have no idea how the bug report process works. i could go on for days, but i have seen countless bug reports pointing out small details such as backfire w no exhaust, plenty of bugs which have been reported like 3 times already, useless ui elements disappearing. i know some of these bug reports are actually good and they get work put into them, but 90% of the bug reports on this platform are low quality, probably won’t be fixed by panwellz at all, and from new users. and i’m just gonna say this to all you new users. don’t just come on the platform if all you’re gonna do is report a pointless bug. in most cases, it’s better if the bug is just noticed by panwellz himself, so please try to do more than infuriate many people who visit this platform daily by just posting a random bug report expecting to get pro crusher and never coming back. pro crusher isn’t even worth it, because you create way too much attention for yourself, and trust me, nobody likes that, especially in derby. same goes for suggestions (except for Madsk00ty), so if you’re gonna make an account on the forums, try to engage with the community to see what’s a good bug report and what isn’t, and it’s also quite fun to see everything else that goes on.
i’m not criticizing or targeting anyone/anything by saying this, i’m just giving information based on the state of recent bug reports and advice to people who do this kind of stuff. if you have to suffer by reading all these low-quality bug reports, just know that you’re not alone, many others have to suffer as well. i’m not gonna name any names, but it is what it is and there’s no way to stop them unless the bug report template is improved. thanks for reading
