so yeah, this was the only time the LFA was ever raced by Toyota themselves, from 2008-2015 they ran prototype LFAs built to SP8 standard
At first in 2008 they ran a prototype which ended up getting lapped about 5 times and finished 77th, but this specific car in 2010 won the SP8 class outright for the first time
It would win again in 2012 and 2014, before it was replaced by the RC F in 2016
This car is also the reason why the LFA Nurburgring Edition exists, as it was made to celebrate this specific win at the 24h of Nuburgring
