2020-2025 Toyota Supra Super GT GT500 (A90) (#37 KeePer TOM'S)

IS THAT A SU-

History

In 2019, Toyota was planning to replace its aging LC500 GT500 in Super GT with the brand new GR Supra. In the 2020 season, Toyota fielded the Supra GT500 along with a GT300 V8 powered Supra for the first time, winning the first race of the season but ultimately losing out to the Kunimitsu Honda NSX-GT in the final round because it ran out of fuel. However in 2021, the KeePer TOM’S won the championship for the first time, just barely clearing the ARTA NSX by 4 points. The same KeePer TOM’S Supra would win again in 2023, mopping the floor with the competiton leading the Nissan Z GT500 by over 20 points. The next year, the very same car won the championship once again, winning 3 races and leaving the Team Kunimitsu Civic Type-R GT choking in the dust by 32 points. In 2025, the TOM’S Supra won for the 3rd year in a row, solidifying it as one of the most successful Super GT cars.
