2013 Aston Martin Jet 2+2 (Bertone)

At the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Bertone will present a unique Shooting Brake based on the Aston Martin Rapide and commissioned by a private collector.
The Italian studio Bertone has prepared a special version of the Aston Martin Rapide with “Shooting Brake” bodywork for the Geneva Motor Show. The novelty, which is called Jet 2+2, was built in a single copy on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of cooperation between British and Italian companies.

The studio noted that the designers have revised the rear pillars, which are visually connected to the wheel arches. This solution, according to the developers of Jet 2 + 2, should create the motion effect even when the car is stationary.

The interior of the model has capacity for four people thanks to the independent chairs, two in the front and two in the back. At the same time, the backs of the second-row seats can be folded flush with the floor, which allows you to increase the amount of usable space in the trunk. The volume of the trunk before and after the transformation of the cabin is not specified.

The car is powered by a 477-horsepower 5.9 V12 gasoline engine, which works in conjunction with a six-speed automatic transmission. The usual “Rapid” with such an engine accelerates from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.3 seconds, and its maximum speed is 303 kilometers per hour.
