Prototype for McLaren MP4/24, based on McLaren MP4/23.
Used to develop components for the 2009 technical regulations, specifically to test KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) and 2009-spec aerodynamics.
i’m no expert but that’s a mercedes-benz logo in the front
Pretty sure McLaren used Mercedes engines for F1 so yeah
They probably had a partnership to make this F1 car
