Name: 2005 Subaru Forester STi
Exterior and Interior:

Subaru is most known for their revered rally legend, the WRX STi, powered by a similarly iconic boxer engine. However, the lesser known, bigger SUV, the Forester, got a simular treatment from the STi branch of the company. The goal was to make a larger car that was able to compete with the Impreza WRX STi of the time for a cheaper price. This resulted in the making of the Forester STi, which boasted a 2.5-liter turbocharged DOHC flat-4 boxer engine tuned by STi to make 265 BHP at 5600 RPM and 186 lb. ft of torque. This gave the Forester STi a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 140 MPH. The Forester’s boxer engine gave it a lower center of gravity compared to other SUV’s of the time due to the placement of the engine, helping it gain a sporty handling, which was accompanied with a tuned suspension that was stiffer than the usual Forester, also giving it a slightly lowered ride height, and a new steering rack giving it more responsive steering. Though not commonly known, the Forester STi is definitely deserving of attention as it was a very quick car at the time, and even more impressive given its size. The Forester STi had some decent size, being a 5 passenger SUV, but only weighed 3305 lbs, which was, and is light for an SUV.
