Statistically I could see this being in beginner derby, but HIGH up there, in the millions or late 100ks. like 900k at the least.
It stats rival the terrain destroyer, sacrificing slight durability for speeds
manuverability would be about the same, both are large trucks
They should really consider adding this this would be a lovely classic truck addition these trucks are very strong and nice
Very iconical truck, I see these EVERYWHERE where I love and basically all over the US
Here is its full frontal crash test to get an idea of durability
B O U N C E lol
its a 6300 pound truck despite being only the 1500
holds up quite well for its weight imo
EDITED: Adjusted weight and defense rating
Defense went front 139 to 135
Weight went from 7200 to 6300
I accidentally used the weight stat from the heavier 2500 variant of this truck, the correct readout for the 1500 is now listed.
This truck also CANNOT use a plow in derby or facility due to how durable it already is. The chrome bumper on the front of these trucks can literally crush small trees and cars with almost no damage taken inRL. It still also remains a VIP vehicle.
Also tweaked price statement.
Also the reason I suggest it not use a plow in derby is due to how durable the front end would be in attacks, and how extremely high its attack already is
heh, i joke about fords, what i say about fords is “just a tap to the bumper and it falls off” and with chevrolet and cadillac, the bumper just takes a scratch and possibly a TINY DENT
Pretty much. Ford makes ok transmissions, but literally everything else is terrible about them.
Also their frames were terrible
Nothing an touch old GM. Their trucks, their 90s and early 2000s camaro…the BEST. They were ahead of their day back then. I would rather get me a 1999 or 1998 chevy camaro rather than some shiny crap today
Camaro is going to pot ;-;
Yes :(
what about the camaro?
the design for camaro is terrible current gen
and it is worst selling out of dodge challenger ford mustang and camaro
wait a minute what now?
To put it bluntly, GM isn’t what it used to be :(
Gm Chevy used to be the best vehicle brand, its trucks began getting bad after 2007 imo, camaro got bad around 2010.
Old GM was amazing, but is an old way of life of Chevy that is sadly dying out.
If you ever get a truck from chevy, get them from 1999 to 2006, but no further, they start developing a lot of issues
Woah that’s a lot of likes. The only thing recently that rivals this in likes is the Bugatti 56 I think which got like 20
This and the other thing should be added
I got a story for you guys im making it in off topic…
Got in a wreck in my silverado ;~;
Was quite spectacular and snapped me out of my funk
gonna take a min to make though
Story on my wreck is in off topic if ya wanna read
outstanding start (ish) to a new year haha
and a testament to this truck’s durability, kept me and my friend safe while putting the other truck out of commission from impact
the only diff is mine is an extended cab and this is crew cab
Anyhoo
thanks :D
tbh, given the wreck I have been in and the sheer abuse I have put my truck through, I think its defense should be equal of the TD if not higher
This could -possibly- be the new max beginner vehicle albeit the TD still being in beginner of course just as the max normal vehicle in beginner or smth
Anyway just a thought, this truck would be a great successor to it
This is basically the TD but with same/higher defense, and much faster and slightly lighter
I changed the model year in title a bit to apply to a bit wider range of the silverado years, a quick fact is that the silverado has the same frame all the way from 2000 to 2006, possibly 2007
But the 2003 (the truck I have, but as extended cab) and the 2005 are identical, the 2005 here just being crew cab.
Do you guys think 135 defense is good for this truck? Or should it be 140s or even 150?
the higher defense, the more buff its parts will be if added probably
to give a little comparison, two similarly would-be performing vehicles to this truck in the game are the Folstak D-3500, and the Terrain Destroyer.
This being at 135 defense as of now is I think 2 higher than the folstak, but still fallls short of TD
Should I bump it up or leave it? if I bumped it up its new defense would be 147, surpassing the TD by a slight 3 rating, and surpassing the Folstak dually by around 12
or should it go as far as 156? the only thing that would be higher at that point in BEGINNER derby would be the tour bus, which is at 160 something I think
I wouldnt say this is as tanky as a bus, but it is DEFINITELY one of the tankiest trucks out there and has more than enough performance to basically murder anything in beginner, even frightening the camaro twins and the mustang in speeds, albeit not having QUITE the defense the tanky Tour Bus has, but is VERY VERY tough for it being smaller than, and quicker than a bus.
What do you guys think? 156 defense?? (current is 135)
