{2002-2006 GM Cadillac Escalade EXT}

Stuff

Note: This is probably the vehicle I wanted added the most to the game, even more than my own truck which I am rather obsessed with (but with good reasons). This is going to be L O N G
Honda ripped the ridgeline off this truck
jk,jk, honda is still a good brand (but they did rip off of GM when they made the ridgeline).
honda makes some of the best cars ever, and GM makes the best trucks.
Anyways, here is one of the ultimate GM “land yachts”
The Cadillac version of the 1st gen Avalanche. First of all, the elephant in the room looking at this thing.
It’s M A S S I V E. It’s mean looking
This one has an improved engine over the avalanche, improved interior
Cadillac is basically a chevy, but take the chevy and slap luxury into it
However I will say old cadillacs were junk until GM bought them
I was about to say that this car looks like a crime boss truck, and I researched a little and this has been actually used in many movies and not just crime movies
it has a very unique look, no other truck on the road looks quite like it. It is a love it or hate it kind of look, and to me it looks awesome.

lets get a closer look at this things m a s s. L o o k a t t h i s
LOOK AT THE CARNAGE

LOOK HOW HEAVY THIS THING IS
:megaxd:
:pain:

Brief History:
While the styling of these rigs took a little getting used to, their functionality didn’t. Imagine a smooth-riding, powerful, 6,000-pound, all-wheel-drive sedan with a trunk that could swallow a dozen or more 4- by 8-foot sheets of plywood, and you get the idea.
Topping off the bed was a three-piece composite (hard plastic) cargo cover that hooked together with latches so each piece could be removed independently. Also, the tailgate could be locked, which made for that seriously large, secure storage area. The sides of the cargo box, along with the Midgate and tailgate, were armored with “PRO-TEC” composite so the inside of the bed was dent- and scratch-resistant.

Power was not a problem either, as under the EXT’s expansive hood was a Gen III, 6-liter LS-series V-8 developed for the all-wheel-drive Escalade (it later appeared in the all-wheel-drive Chevrolet Silverado SS as well). The “LQ9” truck engine ran an iron block topped with high-flow aluminum cylinder heads and had a 10:1 compression ratio. All of this allowed it to make a gutsy 345 hp at 5,200 rpm and 380 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm.

Power was sent to GM’s big 4L60-E HD four-speed overdrive automatic transmission while a New Venture Gear 149 transfer case with a viscous coupling delivered full-time all-wheel-drive.

Comfort, power, and versatility were Escalade EXT strong suits; fuel economy, however, wasn’t :megaxd:
And yep, that’s the same engine as the Silverado SS. This thing is a brute, but it can MOVE.

Summary: This thing will easily rip apart any other car in derby unless it is much bigger than itself. It’s only weakness is turning ability, which can, for the most part, be improved with spoilers. Overall very very dangerous opponent in derby, probably overall being the most deadly thing in beginner derby if it was added there, its only drawbacks being slow compared to sports cars, but for a truck of it’s size and stature it is deadly fast. It is extremely powerful overall, but is unbeatable in the right hands. This, if added, would also be probably the most durable tier 1 in the game.
This thing also has a really unique look to it, another reason why I want it to be VIP other than being extremely durable and overall great performance compared to the other trucks like it.

If they add this they need to remodel the escalade so they fit in together

yeah the current one is modeled very badly
regarding fit and finish
its also too boxy
