2001 Volkswagen Passat W8 4Motion (B5+)

panwellz add more volkswagens plz :3

The first time of VW experimenting with W engine layouts (both the W12 and the Bugatti W16 will come later) and the most expensive car in their lineup when it was released. The B5 gen Passat generally shared a lot of stuff with the Audi A4, including its longitudinally mounted engines and the AWD system, but the 275hp 4 litre W8 engine here is unique to the Passat - it hasn’t been installed in any other VW Group model, and it’s also the only road car in the world to have such an engine. Only 50 thousand Passat W8s ended up being made, mainly due to the high cost of production and people being put off by such a “mainstream” badge on what was pretty much a luxury car.
The Volksmobil Musson W8 would be featured as a mid C class vehicle, with a decent balance of all stats and a ~750.000 price tag.
