temporarily before I get a camera
I just put the phone in the trunk on record to get the engine sound
(exhaust is most prominent in the trunk of a vehicle because vibration)

Here is sort of a project list of the caring/fixing I am doing to the Firebird in this time
a grocery list, of things I have left to do and things I have done.
-drain/refill dirty coolant
-repair and/or replace front rotors, brake pads
-Touch up on any surface rust, from minor to severe, although nothing severe has been found in conclusion.
-Oil change, high mileage
-Take apart and salvage parts from the local salvage, taken metal frame bit, mirror piece, mirror fixture, motor and wires from a salvage 4th gen Firebird side mirror housing, reassemble all of it, take apart the little motor, reasseble/refirbish that via cleaning and removing old dirty gear lubricant, and placing the better condition gears, power mirror control struts, all in place, reassemble, and bold back on to the car.
(yes, I said BOLT the mirror back on. There is literally steel inside the mirror, the same material of the door frame steel. Steel in the mirror, bolting on to more steel. lol) METALMETALMETAL. Firebird is a gloriously overengineered brick of metal)
-Disassemble the pop-up headlights (each headlight alone was about 10-15 pounds LOL)
remove headlight motor, disassemble headlight motor, replace the destroyed plastic gear with a brand new BRASS gear, reassemble, replace old worn out seal with superglue (the brass gear is never going to break) reassemble, and reassemble the former, and stick it all back together, bolt back into the car and clean up the mess.

it took like 4-5 tools to do just the above. The headlight motor ALONE had F O U R 10mm 3 inch bolts holding it in the car :megaxd:
I swear the amount of parts in just that little project has more parts than a fiat 500 minus the engine.
obviously though roblox dont include all the little nuts and bolts…which would be hilariously realistic for roblox and would probably break roblox algorithm in the process lol.
-Check, refurbish rear brake drums as necessary (did NOT need refurbished, still 80% to go before they need buffed out)
~~Touch up the interior, missing hardware…clean interior, wish soap and rag (dogs slept in it, this thing sat in a shop for a long time) partially complete
-Spray any surface rust on bottom of the unibody “tub” structure
→ REPANT completely…same paint, two tone orange/burnt sienna and black ←
CURRENT OBJECTIVE^ that will cost money. aside from that, vacuuming/soaping down interior and cleaning out will just be done on some nice cool weekend near sunset.
and AFTER I have it repainted all over and cleaned up, im going to vacuum interior, and a MUCH needed carwash, and clean the cemented bug entrails all plastered on the headlights off, and get bug guts off the front “nose” intake. Some of those bugs hit it going about 125mph in the past, so yeah its freaking PLASTERED with bug guts hahaha
-Trunk struts replacement ← working on it, distant future, they aint a big deal
so yeah. paint and c l e a n i n g
I’m really digging this I should work in a shop as my next job
anyhoo, there it is

So, my post has gotten so big so kinda lazy to read it all. I MIGHT have already put it in the post, but I have discovered something that will be a game changer for this car in regards of modification.
I have discovered that the 3.8 series II actually holds N I N E T Y P E R C E N T of its torque and horsepower (mainly torque) all through the RPM range. That is CRAZY. I have asked myself while driving it, how in the hell it has that much acceleration despite only having 200 hp listed and 225 pound feet of torque. ALTHOUGH, 225 is quite impressive for a V6. never seen a v6 with that much torque
but here’s the thing. People may laugh at the numbers but when it comes to RACING…now…
its all in the design. GM designed this engine to be a performance V6, unlike the prior series I found in old Buicks.
SO yeah
@STREnergy My man I need your help once more
okay so I literally think that this type of thing will defy the physics in cc2, all of the power curves in CC2 start to poop out once they start going 90 ish mph,
and you all probably know standard cars…modern cars, normal cars etc, if youve ever driven one you notice the power gets weak once you get over 65-70mph that is NOT the case for this engine. If anything, it GAINS power the more you push it.
This engine is actually designed BETTER than the optional 5.7 LT-1 which is really damn surprising.
which means the 3.8 firebird is probably worth more than the 5.7, but the 5.7 having more brute force.
STREnergy you can just leave this blabber in the comments, the numbers are good enough.
I also did some additional research and findings (myself, in person) on its durability by working with the car more do defense will also change.
Stock accel: 12.2
Max accel: 14.7
Stock attack: the same, speed change isn’t enough to up it a number, would just be a decimal
Max attack: 82
Defense score: 120 on da dot

dang I really want this thing to be in beginner but I dont think thats gonna happen It would go full chainsaw massacre on anything in beginner but idk
what do you guys think? (anyone, everyone who reads this and wants it added)
its accel would be fairly average in experienced, and its top speed would be WAY below average.
Its accel would fly-swat everything in beginner but would be rivaled by mustang, camaro Z28, and the dodge police. The dodge police and the stang have 155mph top speed with sorta comparable acceleration
but the Firebird has like 35mph lower top speed, you guys think it would be able to stay in beginner and just swap power for top speed basically? 14.7 is a really quick max accel for beginner but its top speed of 125 is a bummer compared to 155

Which takes away from its MAXIMUM potential attack
but it has very powerful stats though aside from the top speed
so do yall think it should be in beginner but at a very high price, like around 3M or whatever is right behind the terrain destroyer currently
and maybe even make something VIP in beginner down to normal or something to compensate
or hell make it a tier 2 lol

Ye beginner

it could be the new fastest car in beginner, bumping the mustang down to group access or smth

it would make a very fun and powerful car in beginner…it would still do good in experienced but I just…it would ruin the potential of it :3

Heck make the mustang normal it would be a good counter to the Firebird but wouldnt be as powerful like the dodge police

idk how strong the new TD is gonna be but the Firebrid would certainly be hell to deal with in basically any situation so idk
top speed is a con but it gets there hella fast

I could see this developing a huge fear factor in beginner (people being scared sh*tless when they see it) kinda like a lot of people and the acura NSX in beginner and the mustang but the Firebird would kill them both in every category but top speed

So its basically a faster camaro z/28

yep and with more durability
it would be hell to deal with unless you and a friend teamed up on it, it would be an animal in the right hands

im sure you could kill it in 1v1, but the person driving it would have to be very nooby

The handling might need some adjustment though
C7 corvette was engineered to be maneuverable
although the firebird would be much more controllable at high speeds I think 19.0 might be too much because that is rivalling a C7 corvette with a SPOILER.
and the firebird is much heavier
