essentially an Omega B2 Caravan-based mobile office with the wheelbase longer by 130mm, with an 5.7 LS1 V8 under the hood as a nice bonus - the same 310hp engine as in the C5 Corvette, coupled to a 4-speed automatic. the Omega could’ve finally gotten an appropriate engine to compete with its classier German rivals (and Opel actually made around 30 prototypes), but plans were canned at the last minute, officially due to “problems with the cooling system”, which raises a question - why couldn’t they use components from the Holden Commodore? that car had the same engine as an option and was built on the same platform as the Omega B.
