🇯🇵 1998 Nissan Skyline 25GT Turbo (ER34)

1998 Nissan Skyline 25GT Turbo (ER34) - Zenki Model

General Information (Summary)

The 1998 Nissan Skyline 25GT Turbo, also known as the 25GT-T, or the ER34, it’s the tenth (10th) generation of the Skyline range, which started to be produced from 1998 to 1999, when the Skyline got a slightly facelift ( The Kouki model was produced from 2000 to 2002 ). This generation, like the previous R32 and R33 was offered in both Sedan and Coupe body types. The in-game model would be the Sport 2Doors Coupe model from 1998 ( Renamed to Nyssat Skyridge Y52T due the copyright ) and would be offered in the color Lightning Yellow, exclusive to Group Members.

Powered by a 2B25DET NEO-6 engine which was a evolution of the previous RB25DET, the 25GT-T was able to produces a maximum power of 280 bhp at 6400 rpm. With a curb weight of 1410 kg ( 3109 lbs ), lenght of 4,58 meters ( 4580 mm) and a height of 1,34 meters ( 1340 mm ) the 25GT Turbo it’s in summary a intermediary variation of the Skyline, which was offered in a price of $ 20,443 Dollars (2,898,000 JPY). The vehicle runs with Premium Gasoline and it’s able to reach 0-60 mph in 5.4 sec with a max speed of 150 mph ( Or 241 km/h ).

The main reason of the suggestion for this model be added in game it’s because there is none Skyline variations aside the R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nür (Iin-game model), which is exclusive to the experienced arena. Due the differences of perfomance in relation of the GT-R , the car should be placed in the end of the C-class in terms of perfomance (C - 69) and when upgraded goes to end-B-Class (B - 78), avoiding a possible cannibalism between the two models.

With a lower price marge, unique characteristics of the FR layout (Front Engine, Rear Wheel Drive) and decent perfomance status when on it’s stock form, the model would be a beginners response to the high-end models of the Beginner Arena such as the Focus RS, Mithsubishi Lancer Evolution X etc. Other reason that contributes to the addition of the model-in-game it’s the fact almost everything this model need to be inserted it’s already in-game. The 10th generation body and other elements can be borrow from the GT-R R34 and slightly modified, the rims can be borrow from the Audi AI:TRAIL and also slightly modified.
Aside this, there would take a extense time of care to guarantee the specifications of the model would be follow correctly, but different of much other cars suggestions, this is a easy, but still fun option to try.

Details (Arena / Racing scenarios)

In racing, this car it’s a balanced option for the C-Class due his decent acceleration, handling and strong top speed. Altrough, it’s recommended to the player to keeps this vehicle on the C-Class because while being a dominant option when stock, the Y25T can face difficulties against other B-Class cars when upgraded such as the S34 itself which is already present in the B-Class while stock.

In derby, due his favored placement in the Beginners Arena, the Nyssat Skyridge Y25T in opposition to his expensive sibling, can handle a confront decently due his heavy body and powerful engine. When upgraded, this vehicle can obfuscate great part of the other vehicles avaliable. Altrought, the weakness of the Nyssat Y25T consist in a side impact, which causes a significant damage more other regions. It’s also recommended the car equips a front plow to avoid turning his strong attack status into a double-edged knife.
