The third gen Ford Taurus was a great era for ford’s sportier line of sedans, the Taurus. The design is very unique, and they are fun, practical and well-equipped vehicles for the drab automotive '90s.
I was inspired to love this car through The Truman Show, as Truman is seen driving a '96 Taurus in the film. My profile picture on the forums is the same car in green.
The SHO was the high-end sport version of the Taurus, equipped with a 3.4L Yamaha V8. It was so great that it was dubbed the fastest sedan you could buy for under $50,000.
