one of the coolest 90s hot hatches
did the 1 litre turbo thing way before it became commonplace, and the tiny 3 cylinder makes 104hp, having one of the highest power per litre numbers when it was released, on par with Italian exotics (in fact, the only ones that made more were Maseratis, who also used small turbo engines back then), and a 810kg curb weight gives it a decent power-to-weight ratio for this size.
The GTti was also a fairly successful rally car, winning the Safari Rally in its class in 1991 and 1992, occasionally troubling 2 litre class cars and even some AWDs.
Featured as the Daikatnu Chant RSi, not only it would introduce a new manufacturer to the game, but also provide a decent class D racer to new players, with a big handling focus allowing it to also compete in class C on the twisties. It’s priced at ~30k
BONUS!!!
Chant RSi Custom Edition
(Special car variants!)
This thing has been outfitted with a widebody, fat tires and a cranked up engine, with handling also improved, allowing it to haul ass in class C race lobbies, but is still best on slow, twisty tracks.
