yeah, this is a very obscure 911 prototype, which was intended to capture the essence of the 356 Speedster, and act as a design study for the upcoming 964 generation which would replace the G-body
the conventional glass windscreen was ditched for this plastic cover, which honestly looks funky and cool, but from what I’ve seen, mirrors are basically just a suggestion
being a Clubsport model, this was about 70 kg lighter than the normal 3.2 Carrera this was based off of, but I’m not sure if anybody would have wanted to take this out on the track
ultimately, Porsche would make this car with a conventional roof delete on the base 911 3.2 Carrera, while the 3.2 Carrera Clubsport would see it getting a permanent roof, while this would stay as a prototype, as a reminder of what could have been
