Lots of kit cars and customs back in the 80s used the ol’ reliable 3.5 litre Rover V8, so it’s not too surprising at first - except not only there are two of them, but they both power the single rear axle. Oh, and there are two gearboxes, too - both 3 speed autos, with one assigned as primary sending commands to the other through a mindfucky hydraulic system, while the engines themselves utilize a drive-by-wire system to work in sync.
