1971 Ford Pinto

very valid point about the free KO, but maybe if it was tier 1 it would be very fragile, having like as much defense as the Peel P50 lol

yes the pinto, from what I remember from crash test information, has a terrible structure design in real world crashing too

it certainly wouldnt be very strong. less than 60 defense im sure
edit: comparable to the reliant robin, but explosive and probably better handling and performance
the peel has like 15 defense or something I dont remember. the Reliant has high 40s

well maybe if it had like 50 attack it would be reasonable but I think that explosives would obviously kick it to like at least 80 attack if it was a normal explosion

but maybe if the explosion was small enough it would be like 40-50 attack

agreed yeah it would definitely have good attack b/c of that. Weak defense, high attack so basically kamikaze
and yeah they could change the explosion. It could say, explode, and deal explosive damage to the car that hits the rear, but also ignite it wherever the flaming parts contact it like the flamethrower and it burn those parts off
(obviously doing LESS explosive damage than the fuel trucks in-game, this car primarily being ignition like the flamethrower)

a cool idea
another edit: okay so actually the pinto seems to do decent in crash testing otherwise, it does ok in front, side is unknown maybe it would have 60 defense maybe tiny bit more
still attack oriented though

Genuinely given how iconic this car is for its dysfunctionality in crash testing it’s actually dumb that this car isn’t in the main roblox car crushing game yet

This with the Mercedes AA class, they would be great friends.

the “iconic” thing comes out as a tasteless joke when you realize people actually got killed because of the flaw and that ford did absolutely nothing about it when they should’ve redesigned the car

oh and fun fact the pinto wagon was never affected by the fuel tank problem
nor was the mustang ii

Yeahh, you’re right
It’s a pretty stupid design that had serious real world consequences I agree, and it was pretty shitty of ford to avoid even admitting their mistake just for the sake of leeching profits from the public
