πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ 1940s LeTourneau Tournalayer

The LeTourneau Tournalayer was a pioneering machine designed and built by R. G. LeTourneau in the 1940s to prefabricate concrete homes. It was essentially a large, mobile concrete form on wheels, capable of casting steel-reinforced concrete houses in a single pour, producing one home every 24 hours. These homes, called Tournalaid homes, were built in communities like Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Longview, Texas.
