I think the Vartrac Cement Truck may be partially based on the White Road Boss 2 (not saying it is, could be another Kenworth W-900, Western Star 4800 or Autocar AT64F).
Only differences I could find were:
Road Boss has external turn signals on the headlight cover (later moved to the sides of the wheel arch) while the Vartrac doesn’t.
Road Boss has a split grill while the Vartrac’s is one piece.
The Vartrac’s cab is slanted upward while the Road Boss cab is flat.
Road Boss’ fuel tanks are located under the cab while the Vartrac has a step where the tank would be.
Vartrac’s mirrors are close to the windshield while the Road Boss has them on the doors.
Road Boss’ front windshield has a splitter down the middle while the Vartac doesn’t have one.
