I dont understand, i can drift just fine with rwd and awd cars. Even the ae86 has enough power to drift without using the handbrake.

can you drift around here in ONE single drift, and the car alway facing the same side?
And holding the handbrake with an FWD isn’t allowed
for the engine, maybe add like oil issues, like oil burning, causing it to get rod knock after severe damage, etc…
the skyline in game is awd and with drift tires i can drift around hairpins (with the stock spoiler at least)
No you can’t really, the game mechanics also makes that the cars turns in its own direction after using hanbrake hand you can’t keep the RPM’s high enough to continue the “drift” because of the automatic gearbox. And still it can’t be considered a drift
I think the point everyone is trying to make is that the drifting system in this game is acceptable as is, but you’re clearly trying to shit on it because you have more experience with drifting
I don’t think that the drifting system in this game is good or bad, but I think you’re trying too hard to say drifting is bad in a game that is primarily focused on the destruction physics aspect of a car game

Drift is drift bro, i dont have to do a huge donut to call it drifting. Do one turn sideways without losing any speed, its a drift. My username is Vons_66 we should drift together sometime.

because i prefer speed and grip most of the times. Drift tires make your handling and acceleration slower. I guess you can “drift” better than me but therefore i can race better
