I’m not doing any challenges.

Also do you not see yourself right now?

If not: Basically you: ā€œunderage people badā€; acts like underage person

In all seriousness, though, you are acting a lot like my classmates (also underage)

The truth is, although maturity is somewhat proportional to age, they don’t go hand in hand.

actually can agree with that

Alright, I’m gonna stick my cards on the table for the poor old impala.

The SS supercharged version of that car was actually pretty quick. Not a far cry away from an early ecoboost mustang (!) believe it or not.

and its more practical and more reliable. MUCH more reliable.

That generation of impala has GM’s best V6 engine and arguably the best v6 engine in the entire world. I have written college papers on this engine. Its amazing.

That impala is safer, faster, more reliable, more practical than the miata. And in SS trim, square the performance factor by about 2

I LOVE that generation of impala.

Dont get me wrong, its not a perfect car. The transmission can occasionally be iffy if you skimp on changing the fluid regularly (SS version only, as it puts down more power) and as per typical early model GM interiors, its not great. The SS improves it though.

And its also dirt cheap.
And an absolute monster in regards to performance potential. The approximate bottom end capacity of that engine is 850-900 horsepower. THATS INSANE.

and thats a STOCK bottom end block. You dont have to touch the top end until about 600hp.
But the collective limit of the engine hasnt even been reached. People have approached 1000hp with it and it was still a reliable daily. (I will have to dig to find that source again, I lost it)
So its REAL HP capacity is unknown. Its typically knock retard (tuners fault) that kills high HP models (still rare though)

Those impalas may not look like much, but are one of the best cars GM built and thats primarily because of the heart of the car.

I am absolutely smitten with that engine, I actually prefer to look into getting kits for those instead of many v8s.

All in all, the impala may have worse interior quality but it is much more comfortable than the miata, safer, reliable and the performance potential cannot be compared and the miata is expensive as hell.

least bumpy road bump vs. Miata:

theres a lot of truth to that :skull:
Stiff suspension combined with a chassis about as rigid as a wet pool noodle.

Actually
If we are talking in performance numbers and just performance the Impala would clap the Miata because the SS Has a 5 liter V8 that has a better top speed and acceleration than the miata

yeah the gen after the one in the picture has the 5.3 liter LS4
both the older supercharged 3800 v6 and the 5.3 are quite zippy, albeit the 5.3 a tad more so

Impala BIG TIME

Let’s settle this:
The Chevrolet Impala and the Mazda Miata are both vehicles, but they differ in terms of size, body style, and performance.

In terms of size, the Impala is a full-size sedan, while the Miata is a compact sports car. The Impala offers more interior space and seating for up to five passengers, whereas the Miata is a two-seater with limited cargo space.

Body style-wise, the Impala has a more traditional sedan design, while the Miata is a convertible roadster, known for its sleek and sporty appearance.

In terms of performance, the Impala is designed for comfort and everyday driving, with a focus on a smooth ride and fuel efficiency. On the other hand, the Miata is known for its nimble handling and sporty performance, making it a popular choice for driving enthusiasts.

Overall, the Impala and the Miata cater to different needs and preferences. The Impala is a practical and spacious sedan, while the Miata is a fun and agile sports car.

There was an performance varaint of the Impala called the SS which had a muscle car spirit meaning it can destroy the miata in performance unless the track has way to many turns but the impala SS sucks recently
