It just gets to me. On the Spanish news everyone was saying they had the most priveleged spot to see the eclipse because of this and that and the other. Iām in the best spot because I can see this like that. Iām in the best spot because I can do this too.
Also in the local news, the weather was gonna be perfect. It was cloudy so we ended up taking 2 half hour trips before going back home to see if it wasnt cloudy elsewhere. Itās like up in Asturias weāve had weeks of uninterrupted sunshine and then its cloudy when we most want it to be sunny. I mean we saw it get dark and all the rest, but for fucking crying out loud.
And to top it off it was sunny everywhere else in the total eclipse zone.

A full solar eclipse is very rare like the one in Spain (most are just partial eclipses)
