By the way, I’ve redone the track again and started mapmaking. This time I simplified the road surface and finished it in 30 minutes. The mountain is roughly habrosanna, as is the mini-town’s infrastructure. I’ll try to participate in the contest and finish the map in time, even though I have no modeling skills. Some buildings in the first version will probably have no interiors, and you won’t be able to enter them. Then, if they add it (if everything works out the way I envision it, they will), I’ll ask about the possibility of finishing the buildings.

First, I’ll make a rough map, adjusting it to the location of future buildings, and then I’ll make the buildings themselves.

honestly that’s a bit high poly for cc2
i would recommend making the triangle count about half, and some unnecessary details could be removed

The smaller one looks alright i think, maybe a little less polys because cc2 does have really low poly terrain.
As for the big one i do agree with alan
There’s a bug you could probably use to see the style of cc2 terrain better idk if it still works

Thanks, the video is basically enough for me. I’ll need to play around with the knife and connecting the dots a bit. Right now, the two finished mountains are essentially a rough draft, but I won’t be changing them. The boss, the main island, remains.
