You are 100% right about this being the BMW M1, the proportions and the engine grill match up perfectly. People wondered about the rollbar though that is visible behind the louvres. It just means the car we will get ingame is going to be a Procar M1, the racing version.
The image below shows the Procar version, with the cross rollbar clearly being visible behind the seats.
