before someone says something absolutely demented, the Saleen S5S Raptor And Lotus Emotion not only excel at core design (accents, line flow, mixing of muscular and flowing design, integration of exhausts and rims) but also stand the the test of time much more than their comparable vehicles (with the lotus emotion being the first car to adopt the whole ā€œcanopy and body wrapped around itā€ shtick, but also both of them have modern headlamp and rim designs that we see everywhere today)

it’s just an opinion the ppl that said the design is bad don’t know anything abt car design and i HATE those people

even the people who know a lot about car design still call it ugly

that’s kinda like saying a Tesla Model S is better than a Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale

isn’t it just opinions

design is only as important as you make it be, the same as music, paintings, or any form of art form. A diamond serves no functional purpose unless you attach value to it, it’s general value being its great strength and beautiful looks. Likewise you could say the same about cars. Sure, they are mainly a form of transport, but the value comes from the connection to it’s driver. What the driver feels each time he enters his garage and sees his car depends on the car’s looks and its importance to its user. The user may feel anguish or genuine joy on the end of looks, and vice versa for it’s functionality. In the end, the simple fact is that some just prefer the actual capabilities of their car rather than what they see. It’s all subjective and has no ā€œcorrectā€ answer. And ultimately, even what im writing right now is dependent on my world views, and therefore doesn’t have a 100% ability to change another’s view. Hope this helps to distinguish the two ideas.

aren’t you judging other people’s opinions

Actually, this is another reason why I like the Caparo T1

say you owned the production model and you decide it to take it for a track day or smth, when the driver looks at it, he would probably think he’s Ayrton Senna because of its open wheel layout and it’s F1-Based body

and I read enough obscure reviews on this car to know that it’s a proper F1 car built for road and track use.

So basically in the end, you feel like and you kinda are an F1 driver

And that’s why I loved it

(ik it’s very off-topic but I wanted to post this cause yes)

No i am defending my opinion

so basically attacking other people’s opinions is equal to defending yours
