Yall are babies, I got it by doing nothing. I entered the volcano pit when I was still a noob like 8 months ago and the game lagged so I got stuck in mid air. For some reason the rocket pilot mission activated still and I got the badge and title. Sadly even with the most shitty internet, you cant do this anymore as I think that was patched out.

well you practically need rocket booster nowdays to get rocket pilot because the shitty internet thing got patched like you said

I also got it accidentally with the help of a bug lol. So I have never tried this method because like I said, I already got it accidentally… but I think its better to use the runway to get this badge. There is a ramp on both of the sides. I go to the left end then make a u turn then hold w til i get to the other side and FLYYY for 5 seconds. Ik its easy to say for me but I think its possible to get 5sec of airtime with the 200T vehicle. U will probably crash into the ramp but if you change the angle of attack from 90° to idk like 75°ish with drifting or just turning (which I dont think will be enough if you are going 1500kmph) you will at least have a chance to hit 5 sec of airtime. I have done this jump with other cars but never with the 200T vehicle since I only recently got it, every time I get an airtime more than 4 sec, so since 200T vehicle is like at least 3 times faster than the avarage fast car in cc2 I think its possible.
Just a reminder I have not tried this method, i got the badge accidentally. I will make sure to try it and post the results here next time I join the game.
