“oh it has custom rims and it’s not a targa, that’s different”
and then there’s:
“bro I can just change the rims and paint and that’s the car ingame”

all i know is that the coupe was discontinued later and was only sold as the targa in the us after around 4 years

i mean you could say the 1992 nsx-r was a modified stock nsx which it is
and you could get it by just painting your nsx white and adding the 5 spoke new wheels

and adjusted gearing, and upgraded suspension & brakes, and higher build quality, and small aerodynamic modifications, there’s a reason why its a trim above
with how similiar it is to a base model nsx though there’s also a reason why we dont have multiple of these in cc2

the alex zanardi edition also had some mechanical changes like manual rack and pinion instead of electric assisted steering
which means improved handling

and not only that i wonder why i suggested other tiny variants of other cars (911 gt1 evo nsx type s zero and the yellow 3000gt special edition) nobody bothered to complain about that

it was cool for the first couple nsx-gts but it got repetitive af because they all look practically the same other than “oh this one has a panel that goes in instead of out even though you’ll never notice the difference because of lighting”
