I usually go with black neon rims, black platinum with 125% polish (yes I know its too much but im too lazy to change everything back) and if I can, snow chains tyres.

if its a tank or some other vehicle with uncolourable rims i just platinum the smallest thing possible and set its colour to normal

it usually goes like this
rims: use one that gives more parts unless it changes nothing / is useless(looking at you brabus)
spoiler: try to use the best spoiler, usually trunk mounted. some exceptions (like when I used the batwing spoiler on the peugeot race car) (hint hint)
color: usually one of the premium dark colors (I love some deep red w/ some gold rims)

I don’t really have a specific style, but I dont like the bright colors too much (red, blue, green, purple, remember BRIGHT not dark) they just look off to me
If you adjust it for realism it’s fair but ive seen people put neon paint or make it blue
