The Tank Uprising!

THIS APPLIES TO NORMAL SERVERS ONLY!
As we tank users all know, tanks are currently absolutely PATHETIC, pretty much getting dismantled by quite literally anything, ranging from cars going at approximately .01kmph, to a rock that’s in the middle of nowhere, and their weight is practically and completely useless, as they get flung by 1t-5t vehicles continuously, not to mention, they also immediately lose half of the whole vehicle if they touch a rock slightly while going at an all-time high speed of 2kmph, the state of tanks within the current game, is that they are “heavier” cars with guns that have no variety, and that is truly frustrating as it makes them not really any better than any vehicle, given their inability to do a plethora of things that normal cars could do, thus making tanks really useless or plain boring, so I’ve come to suggest a few buffs, so that tanks, if buffed according to this post, could act as counters to vehicles such as the driller, which currently have no real counter.
What I would suggest to buff tanks are to:

Armor:
I) Make them completely invulnerable to everything on the map, such as rocks, walls, trees, roads, etc, it is quite an irritation to lose half of your front due to ramming into a tiny rock at 50kmph.
II) Make it so that their armor is much tougher against cars, so that they don’t lose half their front immediately upon slight contact, make it so that any contact results in a scratch/slight dislocation. (Keep in mind, these are behemoths that have thick armor plates, and are very heavy, so even a 1-5t car going at 100kmph wouldn’t even dent the LFP of a Tiger I, let alone dislocate or penetrate it, that is how strong they are)
III) Guns should not be very easy to destroy, they literally fall apart when hitting a wall at approximately 5kmph, make them practically just as indestructible as the rest of the vehicle.
IV) This isn’t really an “Armor” point, but I think tanks should still be able to continue even after losing their turrets, though with a boost in mobility, around 25%, this would make tanks far more dangerous, as well as making them more enjoyable and goofy to play, it would also prevent vehicles like the Exoniphic from immediately capitulating rather easily because of a well-placed shot.
V) This is mostly an optional point, but I think it’d be great if different vehicles had different armor values, with vehicles like the Leopard and Maus having different armor values, though this of course would require a lot of new mechanics, which could be time-consuming.

Firepower:
I) Make it so any shot that is aimed at the centre of a vehicle, such as a car with its engine at the back, would still destroy it, as it is quite frankly annoying that a 120mm shell gets eaten by the grille of a vehicle, despite the shot also clearly being able to go right through the whole vehicle, including the engine.
II) Increased potency: Make cannons be able to demolish much more of a vehicle than just what is currently in its direct direction, ie. a shot at the grille of a vehicle should knock out the lights too, given the impact of a 10kg shell going at a velocity greater than 1000 m/s, made out of tungsten/DU/whatever, would be very devastating.
III) Calibres should be introduced, with various different damage performances, for example, a 20mm is gonna be less destructive than an 88 or 120.
IV) Cannons should be able to destroy anything in their path, for example, other cannons, it is insanely ridiculous how durable or fragile cannons are in this game, this should be mended.
V) A cool thing that a fictional vehicle like the Exoniphic could receive, is that it could set vehicles ablaze with its cannon, due to firing lazer rays, as well as being able to go through literally anything in the game, this would make it a hard-counter to vehicles like a drill, turning it from the tank that’s essentially a laughing stock because of its rather exposed and weak turret ring, into a devastating killer, though re-tiering may be necessary.

Mobility:
I) Make it so they could consistently and conveniently climb slopes, so that they don’t immediately slip down once losing speed, I’m not saying 50kmph at a 50 degree slope, but it should at least be able to climb at a reason speed, given that’s why tanks were quite literally so useful. (10-35 kmph, depending on the tank, for example, 17.5 for something like the tiger, but 35kmph for the Abrams)
II) Make it so that their heavy weight should push, fling and crush vehicles, not the other way around, it is quite tiresome to get flung by a 1t vehicle or have my entire vehicle destroyed by a slight collision with a 1t vehicle in a 50t machine.
III) Make it so that different tanks have different turret and gun traverse rates, so that they all become even more unique (For example, the M1 could turn its turretat a rate of 40 degrees a second, while the Tiger could turn its turret something like 15 degrees a second.)

A few honorable mentions include things such as a niche keybind that prevents turret and gun rotation, preferably C, as it would allow for some great pictures to be taken easily without really forcing you to leave the vehicle, and another thing that I believe many tank enthusiasts of the game would appreciate a redesign of vehicles such as the Crusader, Tiger, Panzer III, and M1A2.
These changes would not make tanks overpowered, though I am aware of the fact that re-tiering is basically necessary, given the M1 would go from arguably one of the more okay tanks, to a total nightmare for other vehicles, so it would obviously need to be a somewhat costly tier 3 vehicle, but it would give the tanks of the game overall variety and make them actually desirable in the normal game, other being just glorified cars with guns, the Ratte is obviously excluded because of its sheer ridiculous size.

This is also a follow-up to my original post, named “Make Tanks Great Again”, though more points have been added and a greater emphasis on certain things has been placed.

considering how tanks really don’t take damage to crashing and they usually obliterate anything they fire upon this actually makes a lot of sense

yea actually good one

They kinda do, though it’s funky, somehow it’s more present in the Tiger rather than anything else, also it is kinda frustrating how a single shot to the side of the vehicle sometimes doesnt take out both wheels. (you’re aiming at them point black, facing them frontally, firing at the far sides should take out the wheels all of the time, though that really rarely happens)

I know you pointed out drills being powerful towards the current tanks but we need these features for the other Tier 3’s too, doesn’t make a sense that these giants get bottomed out by a little tree trunk or something.

Problem is, tanks are quite literally supposed to be far more durable and devastating than practically any T3 in the game, giving another T3 the armor of an M1 doesn’t really make sense, as it could never hope to match it in sheer effective thickness, and if tanks become too OP in some manner, they could be uptiered as a result.

eh, semi trucks get pretty fucked up in car crashes

poor thing flies too much or just dies immediately

Another thing is cars that are more durable like the hummer are just slow and sluggish u know

Cars are made out of soft and elastic materials, tanks are heavy, hard, and welded well, cars also never pass 4t, tanks range from 15-80t.
