Welcome to this small bit where I ask a question and people can try answering (or maybe I’m dumb and I didn’t pay attention to the game/it’s impossible to know without insider knowledge).
I’m starting off with a simple (?) question. What determines tuning score?
The CC2 Wiki (which, I KNOW IS OUTDATED TO ABYSS) tells you that the vehicle with the highest tuning score is the Gavanni Exelsio at 250. I have found that it is the IM 1460 at 255.
Conversely, the wiki tells you the vehicles with the lowest tuning scores are the Paganotta E35T, Vartrac Cement Truck, and Honda Kaitan DR-05 GT, at 15 (I found that it’s actually Paganotta E35T explosive vers, but.. carry on).
There is a upwards trend as the vehicles get more expensive, but no pattern or reasoning (that my pea brain can see).
Thoughts?
With all due respect..
No. For example, Hayani Garantic (333,000) gives 25 tuning score, but the Resiliant Rylan MK1 gives 30, and the Tuk Tuk (Both are free) gives 50.
Reveri VT Transport (11.4 million) gives 35, while Forter Touring Interceptor (7.2 million) gives 50.
And the Kaitan (mentioned earlier) costs 5.43 Billion, while it gives just 15 tuning score.
And to see the fullest extent, find the most expensive (in platina) vehicles in the game. The pricing-to-tuning score pattern is non-existent
what, am I supposed to say that it looks like the amount of tuning score is based off of the amount of “effort” you need to put in while grinding (which is highly inconsistent regardless)?
Interesting thought.. possibly correct?
Perhaps I’ll go and look.
I think until there’s corroborating evidence/different theory, I will get another “The Math Behind” going.
