Can the bug be found among the known bugs in the trello Trello ? If so, upvote it there instead!
What is the bug? Answer: Every time I try to rewind pressing the up arrow on my controller after a crash it doesn’t do anything but if I use a keyboard it works so my guess is that on a Xbox controller the rewind isn’t assigned to the up arrow or might be bugged
How often does the bug happen?(Everytime, sometimes or rarely) Answer: it happens Everytime I tried to rewind. And it did the same when I tried on my other console with another controller.
What device did you play on?(Computer, Phone, Tablet or Xbox) Answer: Xbox (Bug also happens if you use the Xbox controller on Computer)
What steps do you need to take for it to happen? List them in very high detail:
Go outside the Facility press the up arrow key on ur Xbox controller which is supposed to trigger the rewind and it won’t rewind.
Is the bug related to GUI/Interface on the screen? Or did the bug only appear for you? Check yes if the bug didn’t happen for everyone in the server at the same time. Yes/No: Yes
If yes, screenshot all red and yellow text in the developer console and post it here.(Open console by pressing F9 on computer, or by saying /Console in the chat)
PS : (I couldn’t manage to open the developer console on Xbox but i opened the console on Computer while using my Xbox controller since the rewind doesn’t work with a Xbox controller there too)
I play on Series X and my controller is the Elite Series 2, I also tried on another Series X with a regular Xbox controller and it didn’t work. And I think it’s more of an issue with controllers rather than the device because it happens on computer when using a Controller.
Just a little update, I tried again today on both my Xbox and now it seems like my rewind works almost all the time. But on the other hand if I use my controller on pc the rewind won’t work while all the other options (respawn car, flip car…) works perfectly
Maybe its an issue with using the controller on PC. Im guessing that the inputs dont change correctly and youre stuck with a combination of controller and keyboard controls
Yeah that’s what I thought. The thing is it wasn’t working on both my consoles too and now it does work “perfectly” so idk. But on pc it’s still impossible to rewind using a Xbox controller.
I would like to update this post by saying I have the same issue: controller on PC seems to be problematic. In fact I think this combination is an issue across the whole Roblox platform: it also happens that whenever I sit down on a chair, my roblox thinks I’m on mobile, and I have to jiggle my mouse (my friend is coming over soon idk when exactly and he’s gonna check if this issue has a fix because my settings might be messed up but all the same just wanted to say.)
