The suggestion is not in the Car Crushers 2 Trello Trello
It has not been suggested in the forum already (Search or check the “your topic is similar to..” tab)
If it already exists, like that instead to increase the chances of it being added!
Let’s face it – this update brought more bugs than features. Some of us weren’t able to do all missions today and consequently lost some currency and time. All I want is some code that gives us, IDK, 30MP, 50 Platina and 50 Skill Points. That’s all. Not a lot, is it. Guys, do you agree with me?
Also, in the meantime, if the bugs are complicated, undo the update, fix the bugs, and rerelease it when it’s fixed
it’s not really the testers that are the issue (there’s a few testers that are very dilligent about finding bugs in testing), but rather the devs don’t give themselves enough time to fix the bugs that are reported during testing because test sessions are held the day before the update (at least from what I’ve heard)
it’s not an issue that I haven’t seen before, I test for Drive World (yeah I do, what are you gonna say about it lol) and the same issue with late test sessions is present
I just figured I would educate you guys on this because this is a very common misconception that I see a lot, the issues usually arise from the devs not giving themselves enough time to fix bugs, not the testers (even though there can be testers that don’t really do anything)
it’s really not a good idea for the devs to only initiate final testing, one of my ideas is to at least allow iterative testing for up to a week before the update comes out so that there’s enough time to fix every bug found
that way less reports and thus less complaints that have to be dealt with
(no i swear i’m not trying to undermine the possibility of pro crusher)
this is like bethesda only releasing review copies of fallout 4 the day before global launch
which in turn doesn’t give reviewers enough time to praise the game’s story and give it a good critic score
This is true. This test started around 40 hours before final release in an unfinished version (although many of the new tasks themselves were likely tested much earlier).
There is iterative testing for bigger updates, but usually theres not. Ive been testing for 2 years and it seems to me that we are getting less and less time to test (from like 3 days to 1 day), although it seems to be bouncing back to more days recently (size of updates perhaps). Pan was fixing all the bugs live but he didnt fix them all in test place (not that I recall)
I dont believe this is necesssary. You can def play and enjoy the new updates without bugs, as long as you know how to get around. Some of the bugs, like platina display glitching, outright didn’t happen during testing. I myself was unable to access a few new features due to the questionable state of the test realm (others got to test it though as far as I know).
The vast majority of bugs that were reported were fixed. True, some weren’t, and others are being looked into and I still believe pans gives himself too little time for fixes, but thats on him and theres nothing we cna do about that.
