What is the bug?
Steering after you have already steered the car. This happens with some cars, where after you have steered the cars steers on its own making it very hard to do races, or generally drive the car. This has been a bug for very long and it makes doing the Phantom Trials (Pro Challenges) difficult on the “Beat the midnight rider with the Porettchi 611 RS” due to the amount of phantom steering on this car. However it is not specific to this car as the Gavvani Exelsio and the Porettchi 611 P3 ST also suffer this same fault . These are not the only cars that suffer this issue.How often does the bug happen? (Everytime, sometimes or rarely)

What device did you play on? (Computer, Phone, Tablet or Xbox)
Answer: All devices

What steps do you need to take for it to happen? List them in very high detail:

1. Use some specific cars such as the Porettchi 611 R/S, Porettchi 611 P3 ST, Gavvani Exelsio, but mostly happens with Porsches

Is the bug related to GUI/Interface on the screen? Or did the bug only appear for you? Check yes if the bug didn’t happen for everyone in the server at the same time.

so you guys know how a car likes to have sticky steering?
i have come to the realization this happens due to backheavy cars, and it is notoriously bad on the 911 GT3 RS and 911 RSR (both rear-engined cars) and CLK GTR, Saleen S7, and F1 GTR Longtail (all large rear overhang cars). This is probably due to the fact the weight acts as a kind of counterbalance, so when you make a turn it swings with it, and when you exit the turn it swings back, swinging the car with it
the honda race mower is a prime example too - since most of its weight is based in the back, whenever you steer it, it fights back against you. However, when you remove the rear overhang, it turns amazingly well, albeit with a loss of speed when turning (like the Alfa Romeo 155 DTM V6)
therefore the solution to these sticky steering problems is just to have the devs remove the weight of the cars at the rear as it causes these issues

furthermore, porsches are mostly rear-engined
that adds a lot of weight swinging around in turns making the bug worse

you’re half right
the 911 rsr handles like garbage when it’s not fighting with you but at the same time the weight is swinging around when it shouldn’t so it classifies as a bug

they should do a handling rebalance update so cars handle like theyre supposed to and not veer off

the simple solution would be to remove all weight at the rear
