Derby class is gonna be similar to race class but for derby mode.
They can be toggled on and off
Useful for beginners to see what cars to use.
Goes from 1 to 10
1 is the worst
10 is the best
Examples:
FT-7 Super drill: 10
Exo Speeder: 9
Trelet Barshky 4x4: 6 class
EXR Tregleta: 8
Grandeur Dignity: 4 class
Tier 3s are automatically 10

that’s not a terrible idea

although, maybe the logos of the classes should be completely different to the race classes to reduce confusion

not all tier 3s are made equal
for example the zealherr performs a lot worse than, say, the terra bus
