Many more Monaco collision and visual issues

Many of these issues are small, but there’s a lot of them. I searched a new, updated server for these issues in order to keep the double-checking to a minimum. Also, there are so many of these that it would take forever to put directions to each location, so please use landmarks to find them. If all else fails I can give directions. Enjoy.

There is a visible gap in the map.

This building does not have any collision.

You can walk through the aforementioned building and find your way under the map/into the void.

There’s a gap here.

Random barrier by a tree.

Both of these pieces of a building do not have collision (theres another one off camera).

This shade doesn’t have collision.

Another piece of a building with no collision.

This pillar doesn’t have collision.

Hole in the roof of the big shop.

All these tables and chairs do not have collision.

No collision on this part of a building.

No collision on this part of this building either.

Another collision issue with a part of a building.

The chairs have collision, but the tables do not.

This part of the roof has no collision, also there’s a hole underneath it that you fall into.

Little hole.

This tree isn’t fully in the ground.

There’s a barrier behind these rails that makes you float (the same thing applies to a lot of other railings as well).

Almost all the railings are one-sided.

A little gap between the road and the ground.

The center seating has no collision with all the poles underneath.

All the other seating nearby has collision every other gap between poles.

The yacht has collision issues (so do a lot of other boats).

Door to nothing.

You can fall through the map here.

Another little gap.

As you can see, I found a lot of issues, many of them are small or don’t need to be fixed any time soon. I found all of these in a little less than an hour, but like I said, if needed I can give instructions on how to get there or what part of the map they can be found at.

If you go out of bounds then you’ll obviously run into weird stuff like this. No need for collision n stuff when all this is meant to be blocked by invisible walls

Yes, it doesn’t matter right now, but they’re launching a pt.2 that expands everything for roleplay. It’s better to fix everything now than to deal with pt. 2s bugs and glitches in addition to the leftover ones from pt. 1 at the same time. Also, most of these aren’t out of bounds.

collision error with invisible walls

In fact, a very stupid quibbling about the collision, where it is not needed. In fact, they are just visual objects that are needed for view, not for interaction. This map is only for racing and small individual tracks. The island itself is not an open world, but just a separate track. So the maximum where you need to fix the collision is at the barriers on the track and the walls that are located near the tracks

That’s what you would think, but if you actually read the comments and replies, you would see that the map is not just “for racing and small individual tracks.” The map is being expanded for roleplay purposes, which means that map interaction is one of the main purposes. However, instead of accepting issues that should be fixed, calling it a “stupid quiddling,” is insulting and disrespectful.

For role-playing games? This track is not even intended for civilians. This is a separate track for racing. And I don’t see the point in adding a collision where it shouldn’t be added. In addition, in a few months, to make a map on which they made an almost exact copy of the 1:1 track is already a good result. I don’t think that in an inaccessible place, where there is no conflict, you will engage in RP. In addition, the buildings are made behind the track and they do not have direct access. And the buildings do not have any interior, so there is no point in their collision at all. Those buildings to which there is a direct passage and they do not have a collision, yes, they should have it, but those buildings that cannot even be properly approached, there is no point in making a collision for them at all. So there are those quibbles that make no sense

Guys stop arguing or I’ll close this

Honestly I’m about to ask you too, because these Neanderthals don’t know how to read:face_with_bags_under_eyes:

No, you just find too much fault with small details that do not spoil the game in any way

Besides, I didn’t insult you in any way

I guess I should’ve worded it in a different way, but I was not upset about the issues. I try to approach everything from an objective point of view, and I wasn’t trying to make the game look shabby, but over half of the issues I found are not out of bounds, and just because the racing barriers are there doesn’t mean that it’s not meant to be accessed. But I got defensive because I spent time to put this together, only for it to be dismissed as stupid quiddling. I hope you can understand where I’m coming from when I said that it was disrespectful.
