Very simple but very effective change; expand the radius that the facility sirens can be heard during a meltdown. They really add to the tense atmosphere, and being able to hear them from further would add even more.
Instead of being heard only around the bounds of the “Island Tour” race, it could be faintly heard around the outer edges of the map, too.
