A return to motorsports for Alpina was introduced with the B6 GT3, after 20 years of absence from the sport. Entering the 2009 FIA GT3 European Championship, Alpina was back. Based on the BMW ALPINA B6 S Coupé ( E63 6 series) with the S62 engine, the GT3 version gets a supercharged 4.4-litre V8 with a respectable 523bhp and 725Nm of torque. Together with a revised suspension set-up built for the long endurance races and a stripped-out cabin. During the 2009 GT3 championship, the car chalked up 4 victories, 9 pole positions and 625 race-leading kilometres. But the best part, if you got 300k in euros, you straight up just buy one…
